Do I want to hear what the Doof has to say?

That depends.

Do you like getting completely sporadic updates with no set schedule? Do you like the thought of getting new recipes, personal processing, media reviews, and thoughts on writing delivered to your email? Are you interested in hearing one person's meanderings through life as she tries to make sense of it all?

If so, then clearly you want to hear what the Doof has to say. Your content updates will range from a set of favorite quotes to last night's crazy dream, and you may get five posts in one day or one post after five months.

But it sure won't be boring.

What is the age-appropriateness of this blog?

I suppose that depends on where you are in your development. Generally I'd say it's a maximum PG-13 sort of blog. I won't promise it's totally clean, but it's not my style to swear every few sentences or line up a string of lewd jokes. At the same time, there will be plenty of adult and uncomfortable topics I'd like to discuss, and sometimes I get angry. There is no lifeguard for this pool, swim at your own risk.

How do I stay up to date with the Doof?

You could come back to the same website every day, checking for updates in content. Personally I find it easier to push this button.

Can I talk to the Doof?

Comments are disabled for the forseeable future. I've had issues with social media validation addiction. I also tend to filter myself much more when comments are available. For now, this experiment proceeds without feedback.

HOWEVER, if I reach a certain number of subscribers, I might rent a PO box for old-timey snail mail style feedback.
